Kazakhstan interested in selling energy to Croatia

Kazakhstan is interested in exporting its hydrocarbon resources to Croatia and further to West Europe through that country, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has said.

"Energy is certainly an important aspect of our cooperation. We are interested in shipping Kazakh oil and gas to Croatia and further to Europe through Croatia," Nazarbayev said at a joint press conference with Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on Tuesday.

"Kazakh companies are also interested in developing Croatian oil pipelines and gas pipelines, and they also want to become shareholders in oil refineries and seaports" linked with Europe, he said.
